We are a Chapter of The Owner Handler Association of America, Inc. The organization began in 2005 with a small group of owner-handlers joining together supporting, training and advising other owner-handlers in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
We are committed to educate, promote and encourage owner-handling and sportsmanship of dog fanciers.
HROHA follows the basic principles as established by the Owner Handler Association of America, Inc. The main objectives of the national association and our local chapter are as follows:
To encourage and promote the sport of owner-handling of dogs.
To encourage and promote sportmanship among the dog fancy.
To educate and communicate about the dog fancy.
An individual wishing to join our chapter must become a member of the National organization and agree to abide by the Code of Ethics as established by the national club. If you are interested in joining, please contact hamptonroadsoha@aol.com
